Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a short-term, directive, solution focused therapy from Sally Harding Counselling and Hypnotherapy in Marchwood.
NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) recommends CBT to treat moderate to severe anxiety or depression. It can also be helpful for many other difficulties.
We will work together in sessions to discover your own solutions, and you will make small, gradual changes in your behaviour. As you gradually change your behaviour, your emotional responses to situations will also change.
Albert Einstein, and many others, are quoted as saying:, "when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change."
CBT works on the principle that our thoughts, emotions and behaviours are inter-linked, if we improve one of these areas the others will change, too.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a special blend of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and has been clinically proven to help people process deep routed issues.
